The Interests to Interest Those Who find it Interesting

What is interesting?

Anything can be. You can find my writing to be as well. It may be by chance or a related topic. Maybe there was a tag or something else. If not, that is a pity but why not try?

Well, I hope it is more than just as it is. This is the beginning of makes it an interesting interest.

Interest

The advantage or benefit of a person or group; 3.1 archaic The selfish pursuit of one’s own welfare; self-interest. 4. A stake or involvement in an undertaking, especially a financial one; 4.1 A legal concern, title, or right in property; 5. (usually interests) A group or organization having a common concern, especially in politics or business.

Am I feeling Ambivalent or is the Ambivalence elsewhere?

We are never be sure of our feelings entirely.

We know the names of basic emotion such as joy, sadness and anger. After we learned that these first feelings are easily distinguished, we discover the are more complicated ones that are blended combinations of two or more feelings. And yet, there are more that cannot be named, described or foreseen in a single word (or perhaps within one sentence or longer). When something happen, there can be responses that be varied but never the same. There is one word however that shares many feelings that differs each other and can occur in one time and place. It is also possible for opposing feelings can be in one person as well.

The Word, Nefarious

Nefarious sounds evil.

From Latin form of its’ is called “nefas”; the sin or the violation of the divine law. “Nefar” means wrong.

It is an adjective for any evil doers. It described as wicked or villainous. It can be anyone or something worse than bad.

Evil, there is too many in this world. Whatever is nefarious are the shapeshifters that takes form of malice or of our own fears. Continue reading

Space The Spacious and its Spaces

Space.

Everything around. It is in between. Faraway. Or close by.

Everything around us is space. Within this space is occupied by the existences both animate and inanimate. Maybe the non-existent as well.

Our scientists explains that space is expanding faster than we could imagine. Our light years that tries to reach the all the space we thought we knew. Much of it, is yet to be conquered like untamed conquests. As scientifically said, much of what knowledge of what we know is space. The records from histories to the current dailies and discoveries is also space. But is more, space is always a void. Continue reading

The Word, Quixotic

Quixotic is out of this world.

Its meaning is “exceedingly idealistic, unrealistic, and impractical” (from Oxford dictionary). It is unique. It is exotic. It is all in one word that it lingers questions and underlying contradictions.

This word came from the Spanish novel called ‘Don Quixote’. Although I didn’t read the book, one day I will if… But I did look up and stood beside the monument in Madrid once.  A story about a man with the obsessions of chivalry and falls in demise like any so-called hero would.

The Credits We Owe and The Credit That Deserves

What do we deserve?

We think we deserve more. Sometimes less. Maybe we all do for the right or wrong reason.

How do we have to contribute? For what purpose and why? We have these questions of who of what of the sort should receive. It is rather opinionated.
